Home once again

The past week and a half has been super busy for me. Packing all my things to come back home, saying my final goodbyes, puling all-nighters, and waking up super early to get everything done.
My dad came and picked me up and we went through Yellowstone National Park. That was pretty cool, seen some wildlife and outrageous prices on food haha. I went in to buy a crossant sandwich, and it was $7, not my usual price range for such an item. And I got a Naked Orange Juice smoothie drink that was super yummy. I kept seeing little kids with ice cream and said screw it, I want one too. I love ice cream, especially sundaes.
Right when I got to Denver I found out my boys in Destruction of a Rose were gonna be at the Bushwackers Saloon on Broadway, and I so didn't make it :( But I know that they had a good show and an awesome time.
I still need to buy a car charger for my sidekick, I've been needing one for ages. I went to the T-Mobile store, but got there an hour after it closed, made me a bit upset. I'll just buy one tomorrow before I head out to Texas to see my family, oh how I've missed them so much.
Today I got to visit my mom, and it was good to see her again. There is a guy that I always see that goes to visit his girlfriend or wife. And I just think that's so super sweet in a bittersweet sense. It makes me wonder if I'd ever find a guy who would faithfully visit me if I were to ever end up behind bars like that. He must really love her to make every visiting time available. Anyway, I thought I'd bring that up since witnessing commitment like that is rare.
After I was done visiting my mom, my dad wanted to go to K-Mart on Fedral, but it was torn down. And this guy tried referring my dad to Wal-Mart instead, it was pretty funny. He said, "They've got low prices, some you just can't beat at K-Mart...". My dad was looking for Rockies and Broncos merch to snatch up, I need more gear too.
Tonight I had dinner with my dad at Dragon Boat, it's an awesome sushi restaurant just off I-25. We talked music, shopping and thrift stores. And I'm relaxing in bed watching The Dark Knight thinking of the busy days ahead.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend, niiiight.

This room is small

And it's getting hot in here... and not in a good way. I took a cold shower and I feel sooo much better.
I just typed this whole rambling episode about 10 minutes ago, but the web browser closed and so did not post what I had to say. It was fine and fancy ramble at that.
Since I'm tired, I'mma keep this one short. I can't wait to go back home, but so not ready to leave my guy behind. He'll be patiently waiting for me while I go back home to regain myself. Since I've got solid feelings for this guy, I'll be back for him as soon as I'm ready to make the trip here again. I'mma miss him hardcore, and I hope he keeps that in mind <33
Night errrbody.

So for now

I'm still up in North Dakota, I'll be coming home in June. Super excited about that.
Yesterday I had a meeting about hosting a carnival, to help raise money for the community. It's going to be fun, never done something like that.
And right now I'm at a concert, waiting for the intermission to be over, updating my stuff on my sidekick08.
My birthday was yesterday, turned 19, uber old right? Not. Haha. Everyone thought I was turning 16, insane. People here think I look younger than my age, I find that odd.
Anyway, I do miss the city life, hardcore. Can't wait to update with more photos and videos.
Muwah.

Extended Winter

While everyone else is enjoying the warm weather, I'm in blizzard conditions in North Dakota. Yep, I'm waaaay up north, it's coollld. I left almost everything to take care of my grandma whom I haven't seen since I was 4 years old. It's been alright so far, I just hate the cold. There is 4-6 ft of snow here, and there are cars and people that are STILL snowed in. Insanity. I've NEVER experienced a winter like this, a totally new world for me.

I miss everybody, my family, friends, and sidekick :( Haha. For reals I don't get any service in the town I'm in.

Downtown

Today we went out to Red Rocks, and EVERYBODY there was working out. And I mean EVERYBODY. It was kind of insane haha. There was a group of people that seemed to be in some sort of work out class, and the dude teaching was all crazy. They were bear crawling, doing funny runs, and wall sitting. We tried wall sitting and oh snap it was hard, and they did it for 2 mins and 30 seconds. They were determined to get fit haha. Some people were running tirelessly up the steps, like it was nothing. Others struggled, and some walked. It was kind of cool to see. We went half way down to take pictures and the walk back up was a killer haha. Kudos to the people who could do it effortlessly. We then went to go visit my mom, and Rachel and Marcy checked out downtown. After visiting was over, we went to Sports Fan and bought some Broncos stuff, then went to eat at Famous Pizza on Broadway... yum. After dinner was over we went to Park Medows mall and walked around and we found some uber awesome cameras in Urban Outfitter's, they were $64 and $48 each, maybe we'll go back tomorrow and pick one up :)
The mall closed on us and we went straight back to the motel, sooo tiiiired. I'm definitely getting some good sleep tonight :)

Another early morning

So this is my second day here back home in Denver. Spending the weekend here with my cousins Rachel and Marcy. It's been fun, we arrived here 11 am yesterday, got a room at Motel 6, and they spent the day at Town Center Mall. I went to go visit my mom, she's doing good, just all happy and cheery.
Last night we went up to Central City and had dinner at The Red Dolly, mmm it's sooo good there.
And we ended the night with late night tv and fell asleep. Today we're going to Red Rocks and getting some breakfast.
Another loooonng day

Best Weekend Ever

I had an amazing weekend in Denver. I got to see my incarerated mother, and she was so surprised that I came to see her. I left about 5 in the morning with my dad and we got to Denver just in time for visiting hours which started at 12:30 pm and lasts til 3:30 pm. The prison is super strict with what you are allowed to wear and what you are NOT allowed to wear. After the visit we went to find some art supplies that my mom wanted to keep her occupied, but lot of the stores couldn't ship and mail her the supplies. What a bummer. We then got a bite to eat at Village Inn, one of my fave restaruants. Satuarday we visited my mom once again, and then went shopping at Northfield. They had some awesome Bronco's merch, hoodies, shirts and I got myself some socks. For dinner we went up to Central City and ate at The Red Dolly which has amazing prime rib. We tried to go to Southwest Plaza on Wadsworth, but it was late when we got back to the city. Sunday morning we left, got some Good Times and mailed out a few post cards. I can't wait to go back in March and start school. Not much happened, but I was home for a few days, and it's the best Christmas present ever.

As life goes on

So much can happen in a week. I've been hanging out with Bam lots and lots. We take late night trips to movies, go sit in IHOP and make fun of the interesting people surrounding us. We were having lunch last week and this lady tucked her napkin into her shirt like a bib. It looked pretty weird, but I guess if you're that much of a messy eater, you should take extreme cautions to prevent stains on your favorite granny t-shirt.

I'm also super behind on posting updated photos. Some of which were a few days before I got my snakebites. I'm also bad at emailing people pictures, they'll usually receive an email from me when they've long forgotten about the pictures. But hey, at least they get the pictures right? Haha.

On our movie trips, it's usually late at night, and we don't know about what's showing. We took a chance on two movies, the tickets costing $7.25 a piece, and they turned out to be AMAZING. We took a chance on Eagle Eye cause we didn't know what else to pick, and it just blew our minds. Great movie, I wanna go see it again in the dollar movies. On a Tuesday night we went to the dollar movies, and couldn't find it in our hearts to take a chance on a random movie we've never heard of. We ended up seeing Mirrors, which by the way was ridiculous. We can take a chance on a $7.25 ticket movie, but not a $1.50 ticket movie, how insane are we? During Mirrors we just laughed at all the ridiculous parts, the parts that were supposed to be scary, but if you thought about it, really weren't scary. That's all we pretty much do now, go take chances on movies and laugh at ridiculous ones.

Our piercings are doing better. We can actually eat food, where as before, it was difficult to eat. My lip finally swelled down a few days ago, and Bam's tongue is back to normal size too. We wanna go shopping for some jewlery and change the ones we've got. We can't change 'em until the 24th of this month, which we are definitely looking forward to.

Friday piercings

Yesterday Shabam was going to get her tongue pierced and I was going with her. I've been wanting snake bites, and I was debating on whether or not to get them done. I wasn't going to get them, since school is coming up and I was a bit worried about what kind of job would allow snake bites. Allas, Shabam talked me into getting it done.

I look tired and sleepy... That's because I am haha. It's late and I hope everyone had an awesome Friday night like we did :)

Fun movie night.

My bestfriend, Shabam, and I went to watch Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist tonight. Unfortunately we got to the movie theater an hour late, which was a bummer. We didn't know what else was playing so we just went with the next movie up, which happened to be Sex Drive. That movie turned out to be completely halarious. She and I couldn't stop laughing, it was awesome. I recomend it to anyone with a good sense of humor.
After our insane amount of laughing and giggling we went to IHOP for a milkshake. We got seated next to two crazy, ugly guys. They were being stupid, trying to show off like they were cool or something... AS IF! Our waitress was in training and we both thought to ourselves, "Aww, how cute". Since working in the food business, we both know how it is to deal with customers and people in general. Shabam and I both got water, and she usually drinks her beverage faster than I do, but tonight I was drinking it down. She said she didn't really want water, and it definitely showed. Looking at the menu for a while we got hungry and ended up ordering food. She got a salad and I got a fruit bowl, which was super yummy. The meal lasted longer than we wanted and kinda over stuffed ourselves and ordered milkshakes to end the night. Driving home we just laughed about our favorite parts in the movie, and what piercing we wanted Friday evening. She wants to get her tongue pierced, and I want to get snake bites. We're hoping our paychecks will cover it.
That was my night, and it was fucking amazing. There's nothing like a girl's night out with your bestfriend.

Exciting News.!

I was accepted earlier today! Finally, I'm going home :)
The crazy thing is that, my admissions were a tad late. I'd sent them in late July, but they didn't get them. So they called me saying that there was only 5 spots open, and suggested that I fax my paper work to them. I said I'd try and fax my papers, but when I tried the number didn't work. I called to make sure I had the right number, and I did, and she told me to keep trying or to simply mail off my admissions again. I ended up mailing my stuff again. After doing so, I haven't heard from the admissions office for a while, until today! She called and told me they really liked my presentation, and that they were accepting me into the school. I honestly almost cried when she told me haha. How insane is that, only 5 spots left and I got one of them.

So f*ck you unbelievers.

Like I said, dreams DO come true.

Denver Trip Comes to an End Sadly

So today I am leaving Denver which sucks hardcore. I'd rather stay and live life to the fullest.

Yesterday wasn't much of a day. Just tried to sell some one ounce of pure silver to some people for extra cash. Silver is going for $18.32 an ounce, so I would've settled for the full price or for $16-$17. Apparently people don't know shit about silver and only offered 50 cents to one dollar. How fucked up.
Then I got to spend another three hours with my mom. I got a card with money on it so we could have something to drink. She got Mountain Dew and I had a gatorade. I miss her hardcore, and the time spent together was well spent. After that I just took a nap, had a bite to eat, took a shower and Bam caught me up on hella crazy things.

Pictures will be up in the next few days, hope you all had a great week.

Denver Trip: Fourth of July

S'ok, here's the thing. I'm a day behind on posting my blog. So this blog I post today, it happened yesterday. :)

I got up super early to get ready and visit my mom. When we got there, they failed to mention that Friday and Saturday visitng hours were from 12:30-3:30 in the afternoon. We left and walked down Larimer street looking in the different pawn shops and seeing the restaurants and the Marquis Theater. We also went inside The Brown Palace. It was amazing. My dad has an old friend who still works there, but we didn't have time to say hi or anything. The Brown Palace has hosted kings, queens, princes, princesses, actors and rock stars. One of the oldest hotels that is still around.

We then left to go visit my mom for three hours. It was my first time to see her in two years. She looked good, better than most inmates. We talked about all kinds of things. She said the only things she misses is tv and going out to eat haha. We had some good laughs and conversation. Sadly visiting hours came to an end quicker than we both wished. I said bye, gave her a hug and told her I'd be back the next day to see her again.

I took a nap and then we left kinda late to go see the fireworks in Englewood at Belleview Park. Dad parked what seemed like a mile away and he walked super fast. I was almost jogging to keep up with him (sad huh? Haha). This guy was running in the opposite direction of the firework display and looked scared as hell for some reason. We thought it was funny how he was running. We got to the park just in time to see the first few be fired. After that the night was over and I fell asleep listening to my iPod.

Denver Trip: Day Five

Salvation Army started out the day. It had a book on boarding schools dealing with Native Americans. It had interesting photos and little blurbs inside. They also had a book on Jack the Ripper with pictures of the victims, that was kinda creepy.

The Rockies game started at six, so we wanted to know what was permitted and what was prohibited. We went to Coors Field to the gift shop and looked around. On our way out they gave us a free guide to the game. Any kind of food was permitted. Cameras and camcorders were allowed and their menu was expensive. A small limonade was $3.00.

We hadn't had anything to eat since the morning so we went and got some burgers at Griffs. They had yummy tea and fries. Since we didn't have any water or snacks we went to K-Mart and bought some for the game.

We parked on Market street and walked to the 16th Street Mall. We didn't shop, just mainly walked the mall. We caught a free shuttle bus ride to the end of the street and started on our way to the game. People were trying to buy tickets from people, some were selling tickets. Once we got a block away, we were bombarded with people selling drinks/hot dogs/candy for $1, which is way cheaper than inside. They were yelling, "Cheaper outside. Expensive inside". We walked through the gates and were led to the upper level where our seats were. Right in the sunlight, no shade what so ever. My face was getting hot, so I put on my dad's hoodie and used it as a cap haha. The stadium wasn't full, there were empty seats here and there. Limonades, beer, frozen icy's and ice cream were being sold throughout the stands. It was getting a little cloudy and sprinkled a bit. We were missed by two rows haha. The mile high seats were two seats above, which was cool. The crowd started the wave, and we repeated it three times, that was fun. As the game progressed, the staduim filled up. No empty seats were left. I was taking pictures, but the bald guy in front of me kept getting in my way. So if you see a bald head in some pictures, he was in my flippin way. And the winner was... Colorado Rockies! The place went into a frenzy, I recorded about 30 seconds of it haha. They then started escorting the rock pile and others to the field to better view the fireworks. And the firework show was absolutely amazing! The best one I've ever seen. It was nice to be in the actual staduim rather than being outside watching. As soon as they were over, people immediately started to leave. The mass of people was insane, we couldn't get through the gates with out being right next to another person. We walked back to the car and went to sleep early. I had to visit my mom early the next morning, which I was pretty excited about.

Denver Trip: Day Four

The morning wasn't as bad as yesterday, thankfully. Started the day with a bowl of cereal and a Dark Chocolate Mocha coffee drink. My dad wanted to go to this Bass Pro Shop and when we got there, it was a huge store. I'm not a hunting/fishing girl, but that store was amazing. Starbucks was inside too, what convience. They had an aquarium and a huge fat cat fish in it. Looked pretty. They also had tons of displays of bears and wolves. My dad and I were walking around taking pictures haha. Before we left, I got a iced green tea, but the chick didn't sweeten it for me. I drank it anyway and got used to it. My dad got a strawberries and cream frap.

We went to the Park Meadows Mall again and spent some time shopping. Then we went to a Chinese buffet where we got a mongolian plate made right in front of us. It was awesome, we tipped the guy for doing such a good job. Then we pretty much just drove down Broadway and looked in Sears for Bronco's and Rockie's stuff. And now I'm going to take a shower and set aside my Rockies shirt for tomorrow's game.

Denver Trip: Day Three

The unbareable heat woke me up. Started out late, went to Sears Grand, and bought a new pair of low-top Chucks in the little boys section it was a good buy. After that I went to the Cherry Creek Mall and it was amazing. I walked around went into Urban Outfitter's and found this amazingly cute Polaroid shirt. I didn't have enough cash to purchase, now it's on my wish list. I spent some time in Forever21, talked to Raye on the phone about Cody hustling money haha. Crazy coot. I left, went across the street and just walked around enjoying the scenary.
My dad and I went to the park and he had a bite to eat. We then made our way to Town Center Mall in Auroura. I'd been craving a fucking cinnamon bun all day. First I walked to Spencer's to have a look at their nose rings. There were two guys hogging it, so I had to wait. After I finally got my chance to see what they had, I didn't see any I liked. I went over to Hot Topic and looked around, they had a good sale going on. I looked at more nose rings and again was disappointed not to find any I liked. I was near the food court and decided I wanted some Starbucks, and to my surprise this particular mall didn't have one. Hot damn. So I ended up buying a small green tea at this chinese place. The long awaited cinnamon bun was only a few short feet away :) I ordered one and walked away while the guy yelled something at me. I smiled and walked away. I called Bam and we made conversation about that evenings Two and a half Men episode that I missed. I later realized the guy was telling me where the forks were haha. I sat down with my cinnamon bun and green tea and talked to Bam while I observed the mall's movement of people. This little girl wanted to go into the Disney store and she ran from her mom and hung onto one of the poles in the store. I couldn't help but laugh. Then these weird group of guys played a trick on someone in the elevator and decided to sit by me to watch. Super weird. I got tired of sitting there and decided to look in the pet store, and I found a kitten I wanted to take home haha. We then left to get a hot dog at Mustard's Last Stand but when we arived it was closed. Then Bam figured we were 227 months old, but she was wrong, we were much older haha. Got on Broadway and got some calzones at Joyce's Famous Pizza. Ended the day with a late shower and another cold night.

Denver Trip: Day One and Two

The trip out here seemed like the longest drive of my life! It feels good to be home again, the nice cool weather and the fabulous mountain views. I got here on Saturday evening, just in time to have a late night order of pizza. I was super sleepy and called it a night.

Sunday morning, I got up and went to a nearby church. They had a good service, I've went there a couple of times before and the people are always welcoming. I was supposed to visit my mom, who is incarcerated, later on that afternoon. After church I went to Starbucks and ordered a Vanilla bean frap. Then after that, my dad and I made our way to see if we could visit her. They had alll kinds of rules, like you can't wear grey, made me take out my nose ring, no belt, no flip flops, no tight jeans, and weird stuff like that. Turns out that we missed the time alotted for last names starting with "M". We went through all that trouble just to be told, "Hey you missed the time schedule". So we're gonna try again Friday and Saturday.

We left and drove around Cherry Creek. People there get easy access to Starbucks and the mall. Luckys. We then stopped to get some hot dogs at a place called Mustard's Last Stand. It's a great place to grab a bite to eat. Then my dad decided to go fishing for a while and that was actually pretty cool. The night ended with a late phone call with Bam :)
___

Day Two:
I woke up super early to extreme coldness. I was so cold that I was almost suffocating myself just to stay warm. I finally fell back asleep once I was warm enough. I awoke again at 7 and started to get ready for the day. Took a quick shower, cleaned my nose, put on my face and headed for breakfast. My dad got tickets to see a Rockies game, so I went to K-Mart to find a proper shirt to wear. On my way out I grabbed an apartment guide and a house guide for me to look at. Yes, I am moving back. Coors was up next, a little drive to Golden and we were there. The tour wasn't as awesome as it normally is. This time around, it was a self-tour and you carried these walkie-talkie things that told you the information just like a real tour guide would. Was not like how it usually is, so it wasn't as enjoyable.

There is some awesome prime rib at The Red Dolly in Black Hawk, of course made a trip up there and had some fine dining. While on the way down the mountain, we took some pictures, and went a little sight seeing. I wanted to go to Castle Rock for a bit and shop. There wasn't much that I liked. I just bought a small Nike bag for when I stay with someone, I actually needed one.

Now I'm on way to the Park Meadows mall, I want a Malus shirt.
Go to www.buymalus.com for more merch, contests and information about Jason Mageau's clothing line.

Pictures will be posted at the beginning of next week ;)

Homesick

There is truly no place like home. I'm way from home more than people think. I'm not even living in my home town Denver, Colorado, which I miss dearly. Though I don't like to stay at the house loging on to the net, watching TV, or laying around being lazy. I do like to go out and have a good time with my friends, I like to get away from everyday chores just like anybody else. I'm a chick and of course I love to go shopping for hours on end, but when I do have some down time, I like to spend it at home. Sometimes my friends try to drag me out on a Friday night when I've been busy all week and constantly on the go. They might think I'm being a bore, but seriously I just want to be home relaxing, watching a movie, enjoying my bubble baths sheesh. Oh how I love bubble baths, my bathtub has been out for some time and I recently got it back which made me happy.  There is so much going on, I'm on the road, going here and there, and shopping every weekend. My grandpa's birthday bash is coming up and so are some contests. I'm just busy. Lately I've been looking for apts in Denver, checking online and writing numbers down. I'm working my way to move back, I miss it so much. Hardcore. I should be moved in by June, and I can hardly wait.
